Do you really want to hide your privacy but don’t have admin rights or can’t for some reason. I’m gonna teach a trick today on how to lock a folder in windows without using any software. You might of heard of this trick before or it could be new to you. But i assure you that this is better than using those third party softwares.
How to do it:
Open up commad prompt then type this attrib +s +h X:/Y
Where X->Hard Disk name like C:
Where Y->File or Folder name
this hides the file but you can always quickly view your files by typing its loction in the location bar.
though theany person can access the file by typing the location of the file in the location bar. This would not happen if you keep your filename complicated like “xxx3568456″. well no one could find that you have a folder or file name like that.
but the file or folder you have hidden will not be revealed when u have hidden files revealed.
To have the folder/file revealed just type attrib -s -h X:/Y in the cmd or run command
Thats it now you can keep your files secure and Hidden from those eyes you wish should not see.
