Google Wave is a self-described "personnel communication and collaboration tool" announced by Google at the I/O conference on May 27,2009. It is a Web Based service, and computing platform, and communication protocol designed to merge email, instant messaging, and social network. it has strong collaborative and real time focus supported by extensions.
to put it simple, in Google Wave you create a Wave and add people to it. Every one can use rich text, photos, gadgets, and even feeds from other sites.
